Cultural Review of a Vietnamese Restaurant
Street Fashion At The Embarcadero
When we went to San Francisco, people were wearing formal clothes. They all dressed like lawyers. They probably worked in offices in the big buildings. I saw a man dressed in all yellow but his clothes were made of paper. His hat was made of paper, too. He also had the US flag on. He was showing what USA means to him. He is proud to be an American. The man who wore the paper outfit looked old. He looked like he was crazy but he wasn't. He talked loudly and calmly. He acted like some crazy guy but he knew what he was doing.
Art Review Of Murals In Mission District
Today, I saw a lot of murals in San Francisco. All of them were about different cultures and I liked them because they are about some things that happened in the past. In the artwork, you can see a woman in Honduras which I believe represents her life from the past and present. Her life is still the same. She has had a hard and painful life because of the war and her husband leaving. In another mural, you can see the Virgin Mary which represents that everyone is welcome because her arms are open. The murals looked very cool. Every single mural represents a different thing from the past and from different countries, like Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Nepal.

Old Oakland
El Embarcadero
bart to get there. When we got there we saw some people protesting. It was a pretty small group that were protesting. We kept walking until we saw a big cool fountain. We stopped there by the fountain and had some free time. We went around it to explore it and see how it was. Then we started to walk until we got to Pier 39. We had like an hour of free time there. We could do whatever we wanted with your partner. Me and my partner went for a walk and we found like a small mall. There were alot of things including clothes,
art designs and games.
We went to play table hockey for a while. We had some fun there. We also saw a lot of while we were there. After a while for walking around and playing some we went back to our spot where everyone was and headed back to school. We went home when we got to Oakland. It was a fun trip.

Mission Street
We went to visit Mission Street in San Francisco. We traveled there by bart. While we were there we took a little break and ate some tacos. After that, we had a tour around the Mission Street and we watched a lot of painted walls. I enjoyed looking at the walls because they all meant different things. The guide even showed us how did the artists do to make the paintings bigger. He said that they made small squares in the original drawing filled out with numbers and letters. Then, they did the same thing but in a bigger porter and thats how they made it bigger. Thats what I learned from him. After the tour, we went to a park and we played there for a while. Then, we went to visit a high school near the park. The school was big but the high school we visited which was San Francisco International High School only used one floor. I would say it was a small place for them. We headed back to school after that. I enjoyed this field trip.

PHO
Today, we went to a restaurant named PHO. The restaurant is pretty small and it is located near our school. In this restaurant, they serve Vietnamese food. I have never eaten Vietnamese food before so it will be my first time. Their menu includes meat, chicken, eggs and salad. Everything made the Vietnam style. They also have Vietnamese coffee as drinks. One food we ate is egg rolls. It looks like tacos but smaller. It smells like fish. It tastes like mixed vegetables. Another food we ate was chicken wings. It looks like a wing but with no feathers. It smells savory. It tastes so delicious because chicken is my favorite food. I would give this restaurant a rating of 4 because this restaurant doesn't have that much food on their menu.

About Me
Hello, my name is Jhony and I have been in the USA for about 4 years now. It has been hard for me to get used to this country because most of the stuff that I do here is new for me. In the future, I hope to graduate and get a good job as a mechanic because I like cars a lot.
My Life
I wonder if I can fly an airplane
I hear a car drifting
I see lots of people everyday
I want a sport car
I am an OIHS student.
I pretend to be happy in this world
I see the blue sky
I worry when I'm at the top of a building
I cry when I remember my brother
I am an OIHS student.
I understand my native language
I say I believe in ghosts
I dream about my country
I try to learn more about computers by myself
I hope to be a mechanic
I am an OIHS student.
